Marcin is a highly experienced physiotherapist graduating from University of Queensland’s Masters Program in 2006, after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science at Monash University in Melbourne. He has retired from tennis now, although the sport remains close to his heart.
Marcin’s knowledge across Physiotherapy is extremely diverse, having previously worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in areas such as Intensive Care, Emergency and Orthopaedics, and outpatient areas. Marcin thoroughly enjoyed the hospital environment, finding it particularly rewarding seeing patients rehabilitate and discharge from hospital.
Since 2007 Marcin has worked predominantly in Private Practice. His extensive experience in all areas of private practice includes treatment of common injuries such as neck and back strains through to treating elite level sport people. Most notably Marcin has experience with professional Tennis players, Australian Women’s Touch Football Team and Brisbane Roar footballers.
Marcin has also had extensive experience in the area of Occupational and Corporate Physiotherapy, providing services such as Manual Handling Assessments, Ergonomic and Workplace/Worksite assessments, Pre-employment screening, WorkCover return-to-work programs and on-site hands on Physiotherapy.
Along with a keen interest in sport’s related injuries, and injuries of the upper limb, shoulders and neck, Marcin has a strong belief in the benefit of Clinical Pilates for rehabilitation and overall health, and has been teaching Clinical Pilates for more than 5 years. He is passionate about the role of Clinical Pilates in the prevention of injury, as well as strength in rehabilitation and this shines through in his enthusiasm towards Pilates.
In his non-work time Marcin enjoys Fishing, watching Football and Soccer (an avid Saint Kilda and Everton supporter!), travel, food and wine. He was Born in Poland and emigrated from Poland via Austria and South Africa with his family before settling in Melbourne when he was 6 years old. Marcin speaks fluent Polish, and family time is rich in cultural traditions. You should ask because you ain’t seen nothing till you sit down for dinner with a table of Poles!

Kalos Chan (Physiotherapist)
BPhty (University of Queensland 2016)
Kalos is a qu
alified physiotherapist, graduating with a First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of Queensland. Throughout his studies, he has gained a vast interest in the field of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, while gaining experience in a variety of hospitals and practices. In his final year, Kalos was part of the advanced research stream, which saw him researching the physical properties of the cervical arteries in clinical relevance to cervical arterial dissection.
Kalos focuses on a hands on approach, accompanying a firm belief in the importance of exercises to manage conditions and prevent re-occurrences from happening. As a result, he strongly believes in the many benefits that Clinical Pilates can bring and enjoys seeing patients improve from the classes. He is also qualified to practice dry needling, and uses it as part of his holistic treatment approach of a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. These include conditions ranging from the lower back and neck, to more acute sporting injuries in the extremities.
Outside of work, Kalos enjoys all sorts of physical activity, mainly spending his time playing basketball and volleyball, which explains his interest in shoulder, knee and ankle injuries. On top of that, he also enjoys running, pilates, badminton, hiking and the casual hit at the driving range.
